Years ago when I first started on my journey of selfdiscovery and self- growth, I came across a wonderful book, "You can heal your life" by Louise Hay. I really loved that book and I must have read it cover to cover many times. I discovered affirmations in that book. I used to work diligently with Affirmations pertaining to my current life situations. Many times they would work miracles and many times they just wouldn't work no matter how many times I would repeat them or write them down. This would really frustrate me. I discovered the glitch just a couple of years back. It is Tailenders. Now what are tailenders? You have an affirmation for losing weight for example. I now weigh 50 kgs and am slim and trim. Now every time I repeat this affirmation, there's a little voice going on in the back of my head which says what rubbish you weigh 70 kgs and are fat and ugly. This little voice is called a Tailender. So the affirmation always works but its not the one we are saying but the tailender which is successful at keeping your weight as is. Now if you keep saying the affirmation many thousands of time and write it down several hundred times it will work. In her book Louise Hay recommends saying affirmations about 400 times in a day. And this can be a pretty tedious process. In this day of instant gratification I would rather find a quicker way. So I am going to give you a slightly quicker more sure way. This is coming from EFT or Emotional Freedom Techniques. I won't go into the details of EFT. You will find a lot of information and resources on the web. For the purpose of affirmations, we are going to say the affirmation while tapping on eight points on our body. These are the end points of meridians or energy lines running through our body. Tapping on these points aligns the energy flow through these lines. As you tap on these points and say the affirmation, you are actually neutralising the tailenders. So in effect you are deleting the glitch from your system. Once the glitch is gone then you are planting seeds on fertile soil. Now how do you tap and what are the points? You use two fingers of your hand to tap, the index finger and the middle finger. You can use either hand or both your hands and tap on each point gently as you say the affirmation. Tapping on all eight points constitutes one round of tapping. You may tap on either side of your face or both sides simultaneously. There is no hard and fast rule to it. The important thing is to tap on each point while saying the affirmation. The tapping points are as follows- Top of the head, Beginning of the eyebrow, Side of the eyes, under the eyes, under the nose, on the chin, on the collarbone, under the arm about 4 " below your armhole.
I have found that the number 100 seems to have a sort of magic associated with it. When I work on my projects I do 100 rounds of tapping using each affirmation. Now hold on, you don't have to do hundred rounds of tapping everyday. You have to do 100 rounds of tapping in all. You can do as many rounds or as little in a day, provided you are consistent and do complete all the hundred rounds. Once you are done with your hundred rounds, relax, lie back and await the manifestation :)

Challenge or a GIFT
I have long known that challenges are an opportunity for growth. Heard endlessly that you have to look for the GIFT in the challenge. It all sounds really great when things are going smoothly in your life. It is fantastic in principle and you really fool yourself that when a challenge will arise you will be able to find the GIFT in it. But come a challenge and you find yourself unravelling, getting back into the Why Me mode, looking for people and situations to blame, and very rarely will you even think that there is a GIFT hidden in that challenge that you are facing.
I like to think about a challenge like a TEST or an EXAM. It reminds me of my student days. GOD or the Universe or Spirit or Higher Power, whatever you may call it is the Teacher. So go back to your student days. When your Teacher set the Question Paper, he or she also created a Model Answer Paper, which he or she had kept away in a safe place. When we are in the middle of a challenge we feel so overwhelmed, as though we have to figure out a solution all on our own. And we forget that there is a perfect SOLUTION which already exists. All that we have to do is to pull it in. So what then is the process of pulling in the SOLUTION? Its very simple really. As with everything else, the first step is always to create PEACE over the situation. And this comes about by INTENT. Can you stand in the situation, however bad it may seem, it may be the pits of despair, but can you stand in the situation and say- IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL. I keep repeating this in my mind like a chant and sometimes in a few minutes or hours or maybe even a couple of days I start to feel this inner peace. The situation does not seem to have an emotional charge to it anymore. Externally nothing would have changed , but inside there is a knowing that the solution is at hand, that I have help here, that I don't have to bear the burden alone anymore. And then once I am truly immersed in this PEACE, I will then pull in the PERFECT Solution to the issue which already exists. I feel , sense, imagine or think about pulling in this PERFECT SOLUTION. And I trust and then I wait and expect this SOLUTION to manifest. We live in a 3D reality, and there is always a time lag between our intent and the manifestation of this intent. Divinity has its own time frame and the SOLUTION will always manifest at a perfect time. And the last step is to let go of all expectations about how you want the solution to manifest. I have always found that the solution is much grander and so much more than anything I could have created on my own.

Clearing Clutter
I don't know what it is about coming home after a long vacation, but I always feel so unsettled. I look at everything around me critically and things are crystal clear to me. The first aspect which is glaringly obvious is my physical space, my home. I always feel like it is lacking in something as if I am seeking more. This time when I came back it was the same. Everything looked so much of a mess, so untidy, so many things accumulated. The biggest were all those mounds of newspapers. I could feel this itch very strong wanting to throw all those newspapers out. It didn't matter that I had been up the whole night before in transit, or that I had a long two hour drive from Sharjah to Abu Dhabi or that I was still recovering from a particularly virulent bout of Sinusitis. All that I wanted to do was to start cleaning up the house, throw all the clutter out and bring order into things. Well I thought to myself now is a good time to start CLEANING. But hold on, this is not the physical cleaning I am talking about but a Mental CLEANING from Ho'oponopono, a class I had taken in June just before I went for my vacation. The basic premise here is that life is happening to us due to memories replaying themselves in our Subconscious mind. So if we start CLEANING on these memories and erase them, we go to a state of ZERO, and Divinity manifests itself in this state and Healing occurs. So I started CLEANING using some of the tools and I programmed my subconscious mind to keep cleaning every moment and went off to nap to recover from my fatigue. When I woke up in the evening, I felt refreshed and energised and just got on with my task of unpacking my four suitcases. Within the hour I had them unpacked, all the contents stored away in their proper places and the suitcases stowed away in their original places. I was amazed. Normally it would have taken me a week and lots of stress before I would have been able to do this. But hey, who wants to look a gift horse in the mouth. Since then I have been CLEANING on the clutter in the house. And this goes hand in hand with the physical cleaning as well. I have been looking at every cupboard, every shelf, every drawer in the house. I have been disposing off stuff which I haven't used in a long time. What is amazing is that I have been able to let go of stuff which has been sitting around for a long time and has escaped the attention of my previous Spring Cleaning Sprees. Its like things are so clear in my mind, that this just has to go and out it goes. Now the challenge here is that all the stuff is not just mine, a lot of it belongs to others. In the past I would have been very upset and full of blame and self righteous about it, now all that I do is CLEAN mentally on it. And I am sure that this will go also. And even if it doesn't, what I have succeeded in cleaning are my thoughts and feelings and emotions about the clutter belonging to others. And I can be quite neutral about it now, instead of full of blame and resentment. An interesting side effect of cleaning all this clutter has been a sense of lightness, as if I have released so much stuff from my mind. I feel more energetic and light on my feet. Yesterday my son also commented that I lost weight. YOOO HOOO. I love this method of weight loss.

Hello
This is the first time I am blogging here. My intent for setting up this blog is to share my journey with you and all the tools that I work with on my jouney to find peace, happiness and pupose in life. I always used to think that I want to get some place. But along the way I distinguished that its not really a destination but a journey. Before I would have thought that I need to get through this time as soon as possible because I want to reach here and there. But now as I go through each day. I focus on living each moment fully, taking care of my emotions and vibrations and finding the greatest peace, balance and centeredness that I can find. The last two years have been quite amazing in terms of personal growth. I had always heard that as you change within, your outer world will reflect it. I thought it was a nice concept. Got it very strongly intellectually but did not really experience it as a reality. Things started to shift for me really intensely when I discovered the Kryon website and the Free mp3 downloads of all the channels. I had read all the Kryon books for years, but to actually listen to the voice was an amazing feeling. I was hooked. I literally spent all my waking hours listening to this beautiful teaching, full of love and empowerment. And this led me back to the EMF Balancing Technique. It was exactly 2 years back that I did my first training of the EMF Balancing Technique and I have never looked back since. I am not the same person and my life is not the same. It has been an accelerated period of growth and learning for me. And here I am exactly after 2 years a Teacher of the EMF Balancing Technique and living my dream of so many years of having a successful practise, helping individuals step into their mastery and empowerment. I feel blessed to be doing this work.
